Join us at the steeped-in-history location of Chartwell National Trust in Westerham, Kent. The former home and residence of Sir Winston Churchill, for a unique and special screening of the blockbuster 2021 film Operation Mincemeat. It’s Part of the 80th VE Day Anniversary Celebrations being undertaken at this stunning National Trust Property.

The Film: Operation MinceMeat
In 1943, with World War II at a turning point, British intelligence masterminds one of the most audacious deception strategies ever conceived: Operation Mincemeat. With the Allies planning a critical invasion of Sicily, intelligence officers Ewen Montagu (Colin Firth) and Charles Cholmondeley (Matthew Macfadyen) devise a high-risk ruse—planting false invasion plans on a dead body and setting it adrift to deceive the Nazis.
