PRESENTS
SCHOOL OF ROCK - OPEN AIR CINEMA NIGHT
Come join us for another of our Open Air Cinema screenings under the stars, part of our 7th and longest season this summer. Sit back relax and listen to live music before we hit play on a feel good classic under the stars and all for a great cause.
One of our special screenings as part of our 7th year, we always look to help charities and great causes, this screening is no different, as we work alongside the Baldwins Hill School PTA to bring a great value based event for everyone to raise much needed funds to obtain much needed equipment for the children of this local school.
THE FILM – SCHOOL OF ROCK (Film starts: 19:30)
Overly enthusiastic guitarist Dewey Finn (Jack Black) gets thrown out of his bar band and finds himself in desperate need of work. Posing as a substitute music teacher at an elite private elementary school, he exposes his students to the hard rock gods he idolizes and emulates -- much to the consternation of the uptight principal (Joan Cusack). As he gets his privileged and precocious charges in touch with their inner rock 'n' roll animals, he imagines redemption at a local Battle of the Bands competition.
THE VENUE – Baldwins Hill Primary School, East Grinstead
This screening is happening onsite at the school, nestled amongst the trees at this picturesque school in the town of East Grinstead. A very green surrounded school that has an excellent back drop for one of our open air cinema nights under the stars.
